Ballooning in Tanzania
Serengeti National Park is the only park in Tanzania where it is possible to take a hot air balloon safari. The balloons take off at dawn and can carry up to 24 people. Most flights last about 2 hours and include a champagne breakfast and due to heavy demand it is advisable to book well in advance.The current cost is $400 per person. Read the rest of this entry »
The Eselenkei Conservation Area
In the 5,000-hectare conservation area, established in 1997, there are now large herds of zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and many antelope species, as well as a host of more unusual arrivals, including Oryx, lesser kudu, caracal and aardvark.
